Wildcat Mt Ski Resort NH. Staring in the face of Mt Washington

When I think of Wildcat ski resort, I think classic hard-core New Hampshire ski resorts. I have been there not wanting to get out of the old gondola because of brutal wind and on days when there are 2 feet of freshy and no wind.

If you have been around for a while you may remember the old 2 person gondola. I am glad that thing is gone. I used to be afraid it would let go and we would roll all the way down the mountain and half way up MT Washington. That thing was SCARY!

I can't forget to mention the terrain. The mountain has some excellent steeps as well as plenty of cruisers for all skier abilities. Check out the trail map and mountain stats and decide for yourself. In my opinion some of the blues here would be blacks at some other mountains. If you go make sure you ski the Wildcat trail top to bottom.

The Mount Washington Valley makes a great place for a New England ski vacation.

Lift ticket prices are average and well worth it. So when the crowds go to other ski areas because they are scared of the weather, you know it is time to get in some runs at this stellar mountain.
