If you have ever gone up I89 to Vermont, you have gone right by Whaleback Mountain Ski AreaThis kid will love riding for 11 hours for $30.
I admit that I have not skied at Whaleback Mountain Ski Area. That is going to be changing very soon. I have stopped to check it out but never got strapped in. One of these days I will as those couple slopes coming down to the highway look pretty tasty to me. Check out the trail map I like that beginners can go to the top and ski or ride the upper mountain. OK. I have already mentioned where this New Hampshire ski area is located so here are the directions to Whaleback Mountain Ski Area A couple more things about this lesser known place for New Hampshire skiing. They have lights. Thats right, nightskiing! This is where this ski mountain sets itself apart from the other ski areas. Cheap lift tickets These prices are unbelievable. You can ski or ride from 9AM to 8PM on a Satuday for $40 and teens for $30. You gotta be kidding me! Where else can you get a ski deal like that?
