in the Southern part of the state, with many options for all types of skiing. The Vermont ski resorts of this region are an excellent idea whether you are planning a hookey day or planning a family ski vacation.

Sometimes the snow and condition reports from up North may look a lot better but many storms clip the South leaving the Vermont ski areas with less latitude in better shape.

This region of New England can deliver skiing conditions as good as anywhere else in the East with a lot less driving depending on where you are coming from.
