The Vermont ski resorts in the Central part of the state give you several options to choose from for your New England ski vacation. Many of these areas are an easy ride from New York or Boston.

The Vermont ski areas I have been to in this region include Killington, Pico, Ascutney, and Okemo. I have to admit that I have had great days at all four of these ski resorts and not so great days. Anybody that is beyond the learn to ski phase can probably say the same about any areas they have skied or ridden several times.
