Titcomb Mountain Maine for all types of skiingYou will not be reading about Titcomb Mountain ski area in any of the large ski publications as it is not a huge resort with all the bells and whistles. It is another of the smaller resorts with a 750 foot vertical on 16 trails. They offer night skiing and have a bunch of cross-country trails that wind around the mountain. Like I say about all the backyard ski areas throughout New England, these mountains make great alternatives when you don't have the time and/or money to head to the mega-resorts. Check ou the ticket prices. A family of four can ski all day Saturday for under a hundred dollars. SWEET! Most people from the major southern metro areas may bypass for the larger resorts but if you live within a couple hours drive. Head on over.
