Whether you are looking to ski or ride the fabled front four, looking for some long trails with a lot of vertical or if you need to learn to ski you should consider this massive Vermont ski area. There has been much expansion at the area recently, including connecting Spruce Peak and Mt Mansfield.

For those that are more experienced and adventurous here is a suggestion. Find a local. Buy them a drink. While you converse with them over the drink see if you can get them to show you some of the mountains secrets. Stowe ski resort has some really sweet unmarked stuff if you know where to look. I am not suggesting anyone ski out of bounds, however....
