Ski Bradford. Eastern Mass needs more of these small ski areas.
Thats right. So many of the areas like Ski Bradford throughout southern New England are no longer in existance and that is unfortunate.
I remember as a kid my parents taking me to Ski-Valley in Cumberland RI and Klein Innsbrook in Franklin, MA. I think both ski areas are now condo complexes.
These types of areas are great for dropping off the kids for the day or even at night so you can go have dinner or run errands or whatever.
The smaller ski areas are also excellent for group outings or first time skiers. No need to spend $70 for a lift ticket at
the larger resorts if you are not even going to the top of the mountain. You also don't have to deal with much nastier weather conditions.
