Ragged Mountain Trail MapThe Ragged Mountain trail map alone should attract southern New Englanders to give this ski area a chance. The trails in the Ravine section are nice for those that like diamonds. Both peaks have easy ways down so beginners can get the full vertical experience. The best thing is that these trails lead away from the steeper ones so that different level skiers aren't all heading to the same place at the top of the lift. All my trips to Ragged were with large groups with kids of all ages so the central base area and short distance to the bottom of the lifts from the lodge is ideal.
