Ragged Mountain StatsThe Ragged Mountain stats certainly are not the most impressive in new England but in comparison to other southern New Hampshire Ski resorts and the ski areas in Massachusetts and Connecticut they are right up there. The mountain has a vertical of 1250 feet over 2 peaks. Many of the runs are top to bottom. You have to consider that at many ski areas the runs are in sections. The resort vertical may be less than the overall of the mountain therefore not giving one the top to bottom experience they were hoping for. Not the case here. Into terrain parks and features? There are 3 parks. Mother Nature can either be really kind to or brutally unfair to the resorts in Central and Southern New England so the mountain averages about 100 inches a year. Good thing 84% of the terrain is covered by snowmaking just in case it is one of the not so good winters.
