Pico Mountain. Go where the crowd doesn't

This kid is taking air again

Taking some air Pico-Mountain

When everybody else is going to the larger area down the street, Pico Mountain is where the smarter skiers and riders head to.

Here is what you get here instead of some of the other well known (and frequented) Vermont ski resorts.

Big mountain. Check

Plenty of trails. Check

Diverse terrain so everyone in your group is happy no matter what types of skiing or riding they do. Check

Slopes as crowded as the main streets and highways through your city. Nope.

$70 lift tickets. Nope. It is awesome to see a Vermont ski resort with lift tickets still under the 60 dollar mark even on weekends.

A huge benefit of this Central Vermont ski Mountain is the single mountain and single base area layout. It is much easier for a group to stay together or find each other at certain points during the day than at some of the larger multibase areas.

Accommodations are everywhere so take your pick.

Check out and book available lodging

I like to think of this area as place where you can find cheap ski vacations but get all the benefits of having a mega-resort next door. There is a ton of off mountain stuff with lots of choices for dining and nightlife.

Getting to Pico Mountain is not a problem from most places. A ride totally worth it.
