Pats Peak Ski Area - Another great place for a skiing daytrip or group outing.
Hey! Where are the steeps and bumps?
Pats Peak Ski Area, like most Southern New Hampshire ski areas isn't the first place most people think of for a family ski vacation.
That doesn't mean that you should not try it. For a small mountain, there are some pretty decent fall lines. Check out
the trail map. and the mountain stats
I haven't been here in about twenty years but this ski area is on my radar for 09/10 mostly because of my boys hockey schedules.
We could do a day/night trip and not even miss a game. It will beat driving all the way to one of the Northern New Hampshire ski resorts.
If you are looking to plan a group ski trip for school, church, scouts or any other organization, this ski area is perfect. Here are the
directions to Pats Peak Ski Area.
And now for lift tickets. Not bad prices but check out the 1:00
P.M. to close option. That will work great for me and those of you whose kids play winter sports and may have a game Saturday morning. Load up and head up right after the game.
Another thing I like about this Southern NH playgroud is tubing. Everybody can have fun here even if they don't ski or ride which is why I give it high marks for group outings.
Don't have a family, not with a group, not a problem. Instead of dinner and a movie cruise up to Pats Peak on Saturday night. No date? You must have friends. Go ski or ride and have a few beers. Not twenty-one? Go ski or ride.
