Mt Jefferson Ski Area another great backyard ski area in MaineThats right. Mt Jefferson ski area in Maine is another one of those not so huge Maine ski areas that it is great to live near. Unfortunately most of the areas like this where I live are now condo complexes pasted into the side of what was once a ski hill. This small mountain has unbelievable prices. If you are not too far and are looking for a group outing for your church, school, scouts or maybe an employee appreciation day, this ski area would be an excellent choice. Remember that it is not always about size. Kids are happy just bombing down the hill trying to find anything they can to take air a hundred times.
