King Pine ski resort is another one of the New Hampshire ski resorts that won't break the bank!

I had to throw in this picture of Ethan landing even though I used it for my site header. Clean landings are still few and far between for him. Probably not for long.

If you are heading to New Hampshire with the family for some skiing or riding, check out King Pine. It is one of the smaller areas but sometimes these are the best for families in pursuit of cheap ski vacations.

There are plenty of other things to do including tubing and cross country skiing. If you have a non-mountain person with you the Conway area is not a ridiculous drive away.

Okay back to not breaking the bank. Check out the lift ticket prices. There are several areas just up the road that will get you for $20 more/day. Is it worth it?

Not the biggest or flashiest mountain by any means but for the money there is plenty of adequate terrain as you can see by this interactive King Pine trail map.

I have never been a fan of Route 16 as there can be traffic through the Conways and if you get stuck behind someone going brutally slow through the Lakes Region good luck. But here is some good news. Notice in these directions for King Pine Ski Resort that the resort is south of the Conway area.

Another great thing about this area is night skiing. Sometimes it is great to be able to sit and hangout with a few drinks while the kids can still be on the mountain and out of your hair.
