Jay Peak Mountain Stats

I can say all I want about the Jay Peak mountain stats but until you go there and ski or ride the area yourself, the numbers mean nothing.

It should tell you something that someone who has skied all over New England over the years chooses Jay as one of the places they try to get back to annually.

The numbers don't look incredibly huge when you consider the vertical of 2153 feet and 76 trails. Don't let the trail count fool you or the fact that yes there are mountains with higher verticals.

Here is the thing that separates Jay from most other ski areas in New England. Out of the 385 acres 100 of them are considered off-piste. Some of the sweetest tree skiing in the northeast.

Oh yeah and tree skiing requires a lot of snow. This northeast Kingdom gem receives more natural snow than any other ski area in New England.

Just go to Jay yourself and find out. Check out many beautiful properties for rent around Jay.

There are 8 lifts altogether including Vermont's only aerial tram. The lifts at Jay offer plenty of capacity to get everyone the runs they seek.
