Gunstock Ski Resort is short on ride long on fun

Looks like a bunch of future trouble makers to me

Gunstock Ski Area has to be one of the absolute easiest to reach of all the New Hampshire ski resorts. Directions to Gunstock ski area Sometimes the skiing conditions aren't quite what they are further North but you will get a ton of runs for your cash. This was one of our favorite mountains to hit back in the college days of skipping class to get in some turns.

As a southern New Hampshire mountain it can sometimes get bypassed when planning for winter vacations however deserves consideration, especially if one of your party needs to learn to ski. I personally don't need it but the "Mountain Magic" program looks excellent. This mountain area on the shores of Lake Winnepesaukee offers all kinds of other things to do like tubing and CC skiing.

Skiing and riding here is much like some of the other not so far north areas as hardcores will not be challenged by extreme trails. There are a few steeps but the majority of the mountain is intermediate. Great for cruising with the family. See the trail map here.

Another great aspect of this area is they offer night skiing.

Lift ticket prices are not the lowest but for what you save on driving probably worth it.
