Granite Gorge is another Southern New Hampshire ski area great for weekend skiing

I have nothing against boarders but I always find myself having to wait for them when they are in my crew.

Comparing Granite Gorge to the Northern New Hampshire ski resorts is comparing apples to oranges. It is not a resort destination but a small ski area that is fairly close to the more populous areas of southern New England. I don't think too many people will want to plan a weeks vacation at the area when considering skiing New Hampshire but it makes a great place to go get some runs for a weekend or daytrip without having to drive half way to Canada. Directions to Granite Gorge.

This smaller ski mountain isn't going to keep the vertical addicts happy but it is more than adequate if you just want to get in some runs with the family or if you are looking to do a group ski and snowboard outing. Check out the trail map here. I like how the greens are to the left, the blues to the right and the blacks come right down the center and everone ends up at the same place.

Granite gorge has interesting hours and pricing. They also offer cross-country skiing and tubing. Here are the ticket prices

Not the flashiest place but like some of the other Southern New Hampshire ski areas worth a look especially if you want to ski or ride for just a day or 2.
