Crotched Mountain ski area is a great day trip

This guy is down again. I really need to rethink who I ski with!

weekend trip or ski vacation. Crotched Mountain is a very easy ride from the Boston area.

I remember doing bus trips to this mountain years ago. If you are looking to book a school field trip, church group outing or any other group related outing you need the check out this mountain.

Not as well known or big as the other New Hampshire ski resorts does not mean that the skiing conditions at this southern New Hampshire ski area will be any less. Sometimes the jackpot snowfalls end up in Southern New Hampshire and Vermont while the areas up North don't get much. It seems the last few years we have had quite a few of these type of storm tracks.

I am a firm believer that the smaller resorts can be better for those in the learn to ski phase. Take a look at this trail map. There is nothing that will scare the you know what out of you but there is plenty to keep most casual skiers busy.

Another aspect I like is the single, centrally located base lodge and available night skiing.

Lift ticket prices won't kill you as they are average priced in comparison to other areas.

Last but least is the ride there. Crotched Mountain ski area directions. This mountain is a piece of cake to get to from all over Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
