Ahhhh. Ski school. My ski vacations have become a lot cheaper without paying for lessons!

When I think about Bretton Woods, I think 2 things: Great family ski vacation and what an incredible view. The views of Mt Washington are incredible.

Known as one of the best New Hampshire ski resorts as it consistently ranks high in Ski Magazine's readers polls in several categories. One reason why families love it so much is the amount of great vacation homes and condos that are either on the mountain or very nearby. Rent the perfect vacation home at HomeAway!!

From my experience I would not put this resort in the category of an "experts paradise" but as a mountain the whole family can ski. There are some excellent long blue cruisers as you can see by this trail map

Due to it's location it stays colder and gets more snow than other New Hampshire ski mountains. The last time I was there was a day after skiing in the rain at Loon and we found 6 inches of fresh powder.The riding and skiing conditions were excellent. Captain Morgan was having a party at the lodge and it was kind of funny seeing children under 10 wearing Captain Morgan hats and t-shirts that they won in a raffle.

The lift ticket prices are a little high but comparable to other mountains unless you stay in one of their resorts. If you are a guest the daily price drops on average $10. You will more than likely get what you pay for but remember this is New England and Mother Nature is not always nice to our ski resorts.

I have never been on a deep snow day but I want to and will. Hopefully you will too as there is more than enough adequate lodging, they have a ton of trails and the resort is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Northeast. You will have long lasting memories from your ski vacation to this Mt Washington Resort.
