Blandford Ski Area would be considered more of a backyard ski area than a ski resort destination
Blandford Ski Area can often be a much better choice for skiing or riding than larger ski resorts. If you are learning to ski or live within a much shorter drive, the smaller
mountains are often the wiser option.
If you don't want to travel up north or the other places for riding or skiing Massachusetts might be a little too expensive, definitely consider this smaller area.
Lift tickets are sold in a number of ways for members, non-members, day
passes or season passes.
The mountain is pretty easily accessed and is only about a half hour from springfield.

As you can see from this trail map
and ski area stats the hill is a decent little place for skiing or riding.
The people in Western Mass and Northern Connecticut have themselves a little ski and riding gem in this ski area.
The smaller areas are great for group outings as they have central base areas and the trails usually funnel to one place as they do here.
Another huge plus for smaller ski areas is that many of them offer night skiing and this Western Massachusetts ski area is no different. Night skiing is available throughout
January and February on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
