Black Mountain Ski Resort New hampshire is not the most widely known resort however...Never enough air.
Okay. Here is one I have never been to. I have been by Black Mountain New Hampshire but for no real reason have never skied here. A friend of mine used to have a place in Jackson and he would go to this lesser known mountain instead of Wildcat on some of the nastier weather days. Located in the Mt Washington Valley, this resort is worth checking into whether your looking for cheap ski vacations or something a little more upscale. Ticket prices are some of the lowest in New England. I'm a huge fan of sub $40 lift tickets especially from a mountain of this size. These are the type of prices you expect at the backyard ski areas. The mountain offers the typical New Hampshire skiing with a good mix of blues, blacks, and greens. Unlike some of the other smaller New Hampshire mountains, experts seeking a full day of steeps, bumps and trails that scare the you know what out of you might not get bored as quickly here. There are a lot more blacks than most smaller mountains offer.
The location allows for higher snow totals due to its latitude and altitude. As you can see by these directions to Black Mountain ski resort Hew Hampshire that they are right in the heart of New Hampshire's highest peaks.
